Hwangjun elementary school has 55 students in all located in small village surrounded by beautiful mountains.
They asked us turn a classroom of 198 sqm into a library.
Through three times’ workshops with 25students of higher grades, we learned the kind of spaces kids like to stay and read is rather like living rm or bed rm at their home than class room. The library is big enough to accommodate whole school. We proposed multiple rooms in a room where individual kid easily gets oneself a pocket of ones own.
